Perched peacefully on the banks of a picturesque tidal inlet, Lapwing Cottage is the second of our spacious newly-built holiday cottages situated just outside of Milford Haven, 8 miles from the historic town of Pembroke. Set in a rural riverside location just half a mile from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path the spacious holiday cottage is a relaxing haven for bird-watchers and wildlife enthusiasts alike and, with direct access to the water, the holiday cottage is also perfect for enjoying kayaking, canoeing and boating holidays. The cottage is within easy reach of many of Pembrokeshire's award winning beaches with the nearby beaches of Dale and Martin's Haven offering regular summer boat trips around some of Pembrokeshire's wonderful off-shore islands. Other nearby holiday attractions include Manorbier and Carew Castles, Oakwood, Folly Farm and Manor House Wildlife Park. Milford Haven and Marina is just a 15 minute stroll away and boasts a delightful mixture of shops, cafes and restaurants as well as a museum and a cinema/theatre/gallery.
This luxurious self catering holiday cottage is extremely well-presented and furnished to a high standard. The cottage opens into an entrance hall which leads through to the spacious lounge/diner where doors lead out to the large waterfront balcony area with table and chairs, BBQ facilities and wonderful views across the picturesque riverside – perfect for enjoying relaxing summer evenings! The modern kitchen is equipped to a high standard with a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and gas hob.
Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are three large bedrooms; a king-size and a twin which each enjoys wonderful riverside views and benefit from en-suite shower rooms. The third bedroom is a zip-link twin or 6' double and the adjoining family bathroom includes bath with shower over, toilet and whb.
Other facilities include gas central heating, secure storage for kayaks and bikes etc and parking for two cars. Mid-week and weekend breaks are available outside of peak season. The accommodation permits one well-behaved pet.
