Located just a few minutes walk from Saundersfoot village, its award winning beach, picturesque harbour and wonderful array of cafes, shops and pubs, Cartref is a wonderful character filled cottage with beautiful views over the village and surrounding countryside. The cosy log burner and bubbling hot tub from where you can enjoy the lovely countryside views make Cartef the perfect place for a seaside break at any time of year.
Living/dining room: Sliding doors open the room out onto the raised patio area with a hot tub. Beautiful countryside views. Log burner. Dining area seating up to 8 people. Door leads to 'snug'.
Snug: TV with Freeview and X-Box. Large L-shaped sofa.
Kitchen: Farmhouse style kitchen with small central seating area and Aga style range oven. Well equipped with everything you will need for your self-catering holiday including fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher.
Family Bathroom: Bath, separate shower unit, toilet and basin.
Stairs lead up from the hallway to the upstairs accommodation.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, ample storage.
En-Suite: Shower unit, toilet and basin.
Bedroom 2: King-size bed, beautiful countryside views and ample storage.
Bedroom 3: Twin beds. Ample storage.
Bedroom 4: Bunk beds (top bunk has a 76kg weight limit) . Beautiful countryside views and ample storage.
Outside the split level furnished garden is enclosed and provides the perfect space to relax and enjoy the captivating views or an evening soak in the hot tub whilst gazing at the stars.
Cartref further benefits from off-road parking for up to 3 cars, coal BBQ, gas central heating throughout and Wifi. There is a washing machine in the basement which is available upon request.
The nearby seaside town of Tenby is just a 10 minute drive away and this cottage is also perfectly located for exploring the best of Pembrokeshire's diverse beaches, historic castles and family attractions - most of which are within a 25 minute drive.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Please note that a returnable good housekeeping and damage deposit of £150.00 is required.

Highly recommend
We have recently returned from a family holiday at Cartref and was absolutely pleased with the house and facilities which included the spa. There were 8 of us staying at the house and there was plenty of room for all of us. On arrival the house was spotlessly clean with plenty of extra bedding and towels. The views from the back were awesome and you could also see a glimpse of the sea. The location was excellent only a short walk into the village of Saundersfoot. I would highly recommend Cartref to anyone planning a family holiday in Saundersfoot

Very well equipped comfortable accommodation
Beautiful views from the lounge and excellent outside space including a BBQ and hot- tub. Very close to the town so we didn't need to use the car. The master bedroom had an ensuite however, the other 3 bedrooms needed to go downstairs to the bathroom. It didn't cause us a problem as we were all adults. Would certainly come again.

Lovely stay
Had a lovely stay at Cartref. The property was clean and exactly how it looks in photos. The views were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the hot tub stargazing. We loved using the log burner after a cold and wet afternoon in Tenby. One morning we woke up to find the mirror had fallen off the wall which caused some minor damage, I contacted Vicki and she was fast at resolving this for us which we appreciated. Overall, we had a great time and we'd definitely book again!??
