With the air getting colder and the evenings getting darker the festive period is nearly upon us – my favourite time of the year. Pembrokeshire really comes to life in the Winter with the twinkling lights and the quiet streets, it’s the perfect time to visit and experience the magic yourself.

This October half term there is so much fun to be had, from fantastic fireworks to spooky Halloween discos, it’s going to be a good one – I can feel it in my bones!

Firstly, wow what an event. We laughed, we danced, we sang, and we had an absolutely amazing time!

Puffins are unmistakable birds with their black and white bodies, their colourful beaks, and their orange legs. They breed in large colonies on coastal cliffs or offshore islands and Pembrokeshire is the perfect place to spot a puffin or two!

Situated just outside of Tenby is the quiet village of Penally. It’s a great central location, away from the hustle and bustle, located between Tenby and Manorbier with direct access to the coastal path and beaches, it’s an ideal base to enjoy beautiful Pembrokeshire.

Tenby is the home of Long Course Weekend Wales, it is a gruelling sporting event which sees athletes take on a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile cycle and 26.2 mile run over a three-day period with arguably some of the best views ever. The Pembrokeshire spectators have been named ‘the best in the world’ with the community coming together to support family, friends and all those taking part. The atmosphere over the whole weekend is electric!

2023 sees the return of Pembrokeshire Street Food Festival for the fifth year running. The popular festival takes place on Tenby’s stunning South Beach on the weekend of 16th June and is not one to be missed!

Tenby is a walled seaside town with an array of sandy beaches, a picturesque harbour, and lots of history. It’s Welsh name Dynbych Y Pysgod means ‘town of the little fishes’ and has been a popular tourist destination for a long time.
