“We were first introduced to Puffin Cottage Holidays ten years ago when we started our holiday letting business with one 'four-bedroom property' in Saundersfoot. Since then, they have been responsible for us growing our portfolio to three properties; Hawthorns, Amber Cottage and Oaktree Lodge and all graded 5 Star by Visit Wales. To achieve a grading by Visit Wales our properties are inspected and checked every two years and cleanliness and facilities are a big part of it.

We are very proud of our five stars and Puffin cottage Holidays play a big part in us achieving this accolade. Since the start of our business, all our properties always achieve between 75% and 85% utilisation. Puffin Cottage Holidays provides us with excellent service, dedication and attention to detail and we couldn’t do it without them. The beauty of Puffin Cottage Holidays is that they also control the weekly change overs. They are truly a one stop shop and take all the hassle and stress out of holiday home rental. ''We have only recently come to Puffin with our property Sunbury Villa, having used other agencies. I have to say the personal touch and immediate response and availability that Andy offers has been gratifying. They show a huge local knowledge and have so many local contacts that we have been very well served. They offer a very full service which has been most reassuring. ''When we bought Cartref holiday home I researched several national chains to look after it. Then a neighbour recommended Puffin. Their rates were cheaper, they were local and we weren’t limited to how often we could stay there. I have recommended them to several others since. It’s so great that they are on hand to sort out any issues which is good for our guests too. Andy and Vicky are always on hand to give advice and guidance. I can’t recommend them enough.''

We found Puffin Cottages by a stroke of luck and have been delighted with their service ever since. They did not disappoint. ''After years of having many happy holidays in Life’s a Beach our family decided to “live the dream” and relocate to the wonderful village of Saundersfoot. Having never holiday let our beloved apartment before my wife, and I were very nervous. These nerves soon disappeared when we 1st met the Puffin Cottage Holidays team. ''Since we bought our lodge Hiraeth at Penally Grange, our first venture into owning a holiday home; Andy, Vicki and the team at Puffin have been alongside us from the outset. Local expertise and advice for the rental and management of bookings for our lodge. They even suggested the name for us “Hiraeth”!

As we do not live local, as well as the management of bookings to our property, Puffin are always on hand to co-ordinate the cleaning, handovers to visitors, liaise with our Hot Tub maintenance team and arrange local services for any repairs/maintenance when we cannot attend personally.

"This is our third season with Andy and Vicki at Puffin managing our property Surf Deck in Penally. The service has been first class- always professional , efficient, and friendly to deal with. As we do not live locally it was important to us to have someone on hand to deal with any issues quickly and competently and I can’t fault them for that.

Bookings have always been great and it’s a relief not having to deal with the administration. We are notified of bookings immediately together with a monthly summary which is very useful. We wanted to stay with a local business rather than a national chain to benefit the local economy and of course that brings with it a lot of local knowledge and contacts."
