Puffin Cottage Holidays is delighted to present Laston Garden Apartment, boasting arguably the largest seafront terrace in Tenby. Enjoy alfresco dining on the sunbathed terrace accompanied by the sound of waves on the salty sea breeze. As the sun dips beneath the horizon, boats sleepily return to the harbour and the tranquil setting of your seaside stay washes over you.

Laston House is a Grade Two listed building, built by Sir William Paxton in 1811 as Tenby’s first public saltwater bath house. Greek inscription on the building sets the intention of its use, translating as “The sea washes away the ills of men”. Later sold and privately owned, the building was split into separate accommodation, Laston Garden Apartment would have likely housed the warm water baths and dressing rooms of the resort. The location is of prime position, on the sea front near Tenby Harbour, Castle beach, North beach and the town. Tenby has a quaint market, interesting boutiques and an array of shops to browse for all you may need for your self-catering holiday. If you choose to dine out, there are many restaurants and bars serving local produce and locally brewed beverages. Staying at Laston Garden Apartment you will already be immersed in some of the town’s rich history, delve in further by visiting Tenby Castle ruins, the town walls and the museum. If you can pull yourself away from Tenby, there are many other attractions and activities in Pembrokeshire to see and experience.

The apartment is tastefully decorated with care and sensitivity towards its charming period features, a truly fascinating experience to stay in one of Tenby’s iconic historical buildings!
