Folly Farm

If you’re looking for an ‘animaltastic’ day out, then look no further than Folly Farm. It’s so much more than ‘just a farm’ there are over 750 animals to see including penguins, giraffe’s, white rhino, and Wales’s only lions, the ‘Pembrokeshire Pride’. You can get up close and personal with the farm animals in the jolly barn, take a land train ride and explore the many zoo animals. If you get caught up in a rain shower you can head to the vintage fair ground where there are 17 funfair rides and a HUGE indoor playground. Folly Farm is the perfect day out for all ages – from toddlers to Grandma!

Marros Riding Centre

Head to Marros Riding Centre for a fun day out with the horses. It is a family run centre with plenty to do, you can go for a trek, ride a pony, or take a trip to the beach. It’s suitable whether you’re a beginner or an experience rider and check the age limit before you visit.

Boat Trips

Saundersfoot Harbour is the perfect base if you’re looking for a day out at sea. You can go on a sea safari where you’ll discover seals, porpoise and sea bird whilst taking in views of Caldey Island on a power boat rib. Also check out Cariad Y Mor Charters where you can venture further out into deeper waters of our coast to see Minke Whales, Pilot Whales, Fin Whales. Huge super pods of Common Dolphins, Packs of Blue fin Tuna on the hunt and incredible Shark species including our beautiful Blue Shark, Porbeagle Shark and Threshers which on occasion have been known to leap right out of the water! Cariad Y Mor even offers you the chance to snorkel with the Big Blue Sharks!! Tenby Harbour also has a wide range of trips enjoy. Head out fishing where you can catch mackerel, sea bass, skate, bream and more. Take a trip to Caldey Island, go on a seal safari, or explore the local islands on the island ranger.

The Dinosaur Park

The Dinosaur Park is just outside Tenby is the Dinosaur Park. A popular attraction for dinosaur enthusiasts where you can walk through the woods on ‘The Dinosaur Trail’, explore the play areas and enjoy attractions such as tubey ride, footgolf course, disco boars and so much more.

Oakwood Theme Park

Oakwood Theme Park is an action-packed, thrilling day out head to Oakwood Theme Park, Wales’s biggest theme park with over 40 rides. There are toddler rides in Neverland and rollercoasters for the bigger children (and adults!). It’s the perfect family day out for everyone to enjoy. There’s even free, comfy dog kennels for your four-legged friends.

Ritec Valley Quad Biking

Ritic Valley Quad Biking is situated in Penally, just outside Tenby is Ritec Valley quad biking. It’s suitable for ages 6 and over and you can choose from either trail riding or track riding. Manor Wildlife Park

Manor Wildlife Park is set in 52 acres of woodland is Manor Wildlife Park. Home to lemurs, meerkats, gibbons and so much more. This zoo is all about conservation, you can wander with the wallabies and feed them from your hands. There’s a lemur walkthrough and you can really get close to the animals. There’s an opportunity to be a keeper for the day but this must be booked in advance.

Heatherton World of Activities

Heatherton World of Activities is a great day out for the whole family. They have an adrenaline zone, family fun zone and a play zone for you to explore. You'll find adventure golf, archery, giant jumping pillows, soft play, walk on water, go karts, bumper boats, laser clay shooting, body zorbs, paint balling, Tree Tops Trail...and that's just the start! It is also dog-friendly so there’s no need to leave your pooch behind.

Hangar 5 Trampoline Park

Hanger 5 is the ultimate ‘rainy day’ activity. There’s an array of inter-connecting trampolines, a dodgeball court and trick airbag. The onsite café allows parents to sit back and watch in the viewing area (if your little ones are over 4) and you’ll find a separate soft play for the younger ones who aren’t quite older enough to bounce.

Pembrokeshire Alpaca Trekking

Pembrokeshire Alpaca Trekking gives you the chance to meet an alpaca and take them for a walk head to Pembrokeshire Alpaca Trekking. Based on Beaver’s Hill Farm in Manorbier and family run. Walk approximately one mile with them with a halter, feed them in their natural habitat, interact with them, all whilst enjoying the amazing views on the farm.

Wild Lakes

Wild Lakes currently with 94 Google Reviews hitting 5 Stars, this place has become a must go to activity centre for adrenaline junkies. Here you can learn to wake board on a pully system, there is an inflatable aqua park, ringo, indoor climbing and wild swim lakes. There is even a really cool tipi tent serving up really tasty proper street food like burgers, fresh fish, pulled pork, dirty fries and much more! Make sure to check them out!
