Set on the edge of the highly sought-after coastal town of Newport, this charming three-bedroom retreat is ideally placed for enjoying the town's independent shops, artisan cafés, pubs and restaurants, while the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coast Path is within easy walking distance. Thoughtfully upgraded by the current owners, The Gables retains the warmth and character you would expect from a traditional stone cottage while offering modern comforts throughout. Newport Sands is also nearby, with its wide sweep of golden sand backed by dunes and the River Nevern. For walkers, the surrounding landscape is a real highlight, with rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, estuaries and rolling countryside all within easy reach. Explore the coastline towards Dinas Head, discover the beaches around Poppit Sands and Ceibwr Bay, or venture further afield to the pretty harbour towns and beaches that make this stretch of Pembrokeshire so special.

Enter the property into the cosy porch, kick off your shoes and head in.

Sitting Room

The cosy sitting room provides a welcoming space to relax, a beautiful stone fireplace with log burner, creates an inviting focal point. A Smart TV, comfortable leather seating and atmospheric lighting add to the soothing feel.

Dining Room

The spacious dining room features dining space for at least 6 people, with additional bench seating, perfect for enjoying leisurely meals together. Tiled floors and jute rugs add rustic appeal. A games cupboard invites family fun.

Kitchen

Three steps down from the dining room takes you into the contemporary kitchen. Finished to a high standard with everything you need for a self-catering holiday, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Gusto coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A breakfast bar with seating for two offers a place to sit and sip your morning coffee. Enjoy the view of the garden through the French doors, that open directly onto the patio.

Upstairs

The staircase divides into two sections, with two bedrooms and the dedicated office space on one side, while the main bedroom and stylish, modern family bathroom are located on the other.

Bedroom 1

A sumptuous king-size bed, plenty of storage in the mirrored wardrobe and spectacular sea views towards the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline.

Family Bathroom

The roomy family bathroom features an elegant free-standing rolltop bathtub, separate large step-in shower enclosure, toilet, washbasin and mirror. The large stone tiles and luxurious touches add to this chic room’s charm.

Bedroom 2

Luxurious linens on a comfy double bed, ample storage, bedside lights and mirror.

Bedroom 3

Another comfortable double bed, plenty of storage and bedside lights.

Office

If you need to work while enjoying your stay at this beautiful cottage, there is a dedicated office space available. Alternatively, this room provides a convenient space for the travel cot, should you require it.

Outside

The landscaped rear garden has been designed with relaxation in mind, offering a sunny terrace and seating areas where you can enjoy a morning coffee, dine alfresco or simply unwind while taking in the coastal outlook. A particular highlight is the garden summer room, which enjoys wonderful views towards the sea and Dinas Head – an idyllic spot for relaxing whatever the weather. An outdoor shower is available and off the patio you can find the laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and an additional fridge/freezer.

The Gables is centrally heated throughout and offers free WiFi.

The cottage is pet-friendly, welcoming up to two well-behaved dogs.
