Location with sea views and direct access to the beach was perfect. Also pet friendly so we could take our small dog. All amenities close at hand in Saundersfoot and easy to get to Tenby, Wiseman's Bridge and other parts of this lovely area.

Beautiful location, right on the beach
'Gone to the Beach' is in a beautiful location, right on the beach in the heart of Saundersfooot. The steps onto the beach are quite steep, so not ideal for people with mobility issues, but the view from the living area is unbeatable anyway. The property has a shed-full of equipment for beach, including a kite, body boards, 2 camp chairs, a variety of beach games, buckets and spades and an inflatable kayak & rubber ring. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the bathrooms clean. There were plenty of cleaning products in the cupboards and shops within a couple of minutes walk, including Spar and Tesco Express to top up on essentials. Opposite the property is a traditional sweet shop, definitely worth a visit, and below is Sue's pantry, with delicious cakes. Perriwinkles Pottery was a great place for a bit of creativity with friendly staff There are lots of restaurants within a short walk - the seafood sharing platter at The Royal Oak is worthy of a mention, along with The Mulberry
