Discover Saundersfoot – A Seaside Village Full of Things to See and Do

Saundersfoot is a wonderful place to stay, explore and enjoy, with something for everyone throughout the year!

This pretty seaside village is home to a beautiful sandy beach, a bustling harbour, independent shops, fantastic places to eat and plenty of opportunities to get out and explore the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline.

With so much right on your doorstep, it’s easy to see why Saundersfoot is such a popular choice for a holiday in Pembrokeshire.

Explore Saundersfoot and Its Beaches

Saundersfoot’s Blue Flag beach is perfect for a traditional day beside the sea, while the village also offers easy access to some of Pembrokeshire’s other beautiful beaches.

Take a stroll along the coastal path to Coppet Hall Beach, continue on towards Wiseman’s Bridge, or discover Glen Beach, tucked away along the coastline.

Saundersfoot Harbour was originally built to transport coal from the mines at Stepaside. Today, remnants of the old tramway can still be seen along the route and form part of the beautiful coastal path connecting Saundersfoot with Coppet Hall and Wiseman’s Bridge.

The harbour itself is now a wonderful place to wander, watch the boats and enjoy the views across the bay.

Independent Shops and Local Businesses

One of the things we love about Saundersfoot is its selection of independent local businesses.

Along The Strand, you’ll find a lovely variety of shops to browse, including Bakers on The Strand, 3 Beaches, Coastal Chique and Periwinkle Pottery, making it easy to find something special to take home with you.

For something a little nostalgic, make sure you pop into Chobbles, the traditional old-fashioned sweet shop on The Strand. Step inside and you’ll discover a wonderful selection of sweets and chocolates, bringing back memories of childhood and offering plenty of temptation for visitors of all ages!

Whether you’re looking for gifts, something for yourself or simply fancy a little holiday shopping, Saundersfoot has plenty to tempt you.
