Puffin Cottage Holidays is pleased to present Maynor, a generous and welcoming five-bedroom detached holiday home, perfectly positioned for exploring Pembrokeshire’s spectacular coastline. Just a short drive from the popular seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot, this spacious retreat offers the ideal setting for families and extended family groups to relax, reconnect and explore.
Located in a peaceful pocket of the charming village of Kilgetty and Begelly, Maynor provides a sense of calm while keeping you wonderfully close to Pembrokeshire’s most-loved attractions. The ever-popular Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo is less than five minutes away, while a spectacular choice of golden beaches, coastal walks and family adventures can all be reached within a 20-minute scenic drive, each journey framed by the county’s breath-taking landscapes.
Designed for effortless group holidays, the cottage boasts private off-road parking for up to four cars. Inside, a beautifully styled family kitchen flows seamlessly into a spacious open-plan dining and living area, where a striking central fireplace and cosy log burner create the perfect spot for gathering after a day of exploring. Warm, inviting and wonderfully well-equipped, Maynor is a home-from-home for memorable family getaways by the sea.
The cottage enters into the large hallway with doors to all ground floor rooms and stairs leading to the first floor.
Lounge/Dining Area
Comfortable and spacious lounge and dining seating for up to 8 people. Log burner (starter pack of wood provided) and large wall-mounted Smart TV. Sliding doors lead out to the raised patio area.
Kitchen
Double doors lead in from the dining area and create an open plan feel. Well-equipped with all you need for your self-catering holiday including dishwasher, range cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Wall mounted TV and breakfast bar with stools.

Washing machine and tumble dryer. Door leading to the enclosed garden.

Large, enclosed shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet.

Upstairs are the bedrooms all with ample storage.

The house was even better than anticipated.
From the time of booking to our holiday at Maynor in Kilgetty, it was a very easy experience and we felt in safe hands. The house was even better than anticipated and suited three generations perfectly. We all had our own space and the kitchen was well equipped. An added bonus was being met by the owner. Unfortunately the weather was lousy all week!

Beautiful Spacious Property
Beautiful spacious property with all modern conveniences. Well situated, close to Saundersfoot with Tenby not far away. Easy access to A477 for exploring the surrounding district. Large Co-op supermarket in Kilgetty for all food & essentials with large car park. Host very helpful; excellent welcome package. Would book again.

We really enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. House is bigger than the photos suggest, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Our host made us feel really welcome. We were particularly grateful for the touches that helped with a toddler...high chair, cot and stairs gate, as well as the enclosed garden and balcony keeping him safe and the lack of clutter and things for him to break! Fantastic location for local amenities and plenty to do locally. Thank you for helping us have a really relaxing week!

We Were Really Happy In This Lovely House
We were 2 families combining . All of us had great bedroom and bathroom space. Fantastic big kitchen well equipped. Humongous sitting room with seating for us all in the sitting area and around the dinning table. Nice quiet location. High up so some views. Plenty of parking. Short downhill walk to station pub and shops. Good location for Tenby and Saundersfoot and other nearby beaches and castles. Perfect. We were really happy in this lovely house. Thanks to the owner for meeting and greeting us and the welcome pack.. Great for our family get together celebrating my 70th Birthday.

Lovely House

We stayed at this lovely house August 2024. The house is immaculate and beautiful with loads of storage and space which accommodated our extended family superbly. We all loved the house . Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at Maynor with our 2 daughters, husbands and children. Everywhere was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the prosecco, milk and treats were perfect. So handy to get to various places such as Saundersfoot and Folly Farm and Tenby. The outside space was great with an excellent gas barbeque.

An amazing house in a very quiet location. Everything you could wish for and more! We wanted for nothing as everything was provided. It was very difficult to leave! It was so easy to drive to the many stunning places Pembrokeshire has to offer and even further afield should you wish to. Highly recommend a stay at Maynor!

Summer Holiday
A excellent, spotlessly clean holiday house. We were greeted by the owner who gave us a guided tour. We were offered a midweek clean and bedsheet change which was fantastic. The owner came and put the bins out both weeks we were there. The house is in a small village with a good shop, pub and takeaways. A short drive to the fabulous beaches of Pembrokeshire. We would definitely stay here again. X
