The Hawthorns is a five bedroom and four-bathroom luxury property located in the heart of the village on St Brides Lane where you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday whilst still being just a stone’s throw from the centre of the village.

The Hawthorns itself is a truly unique property, furnished and finished to an exceptional standard with the emphasis being on comfort, space, style and 5-star luxury (Visit Wales Graded), all of which you will find in abundance. Situated just a short walk away from the seaside village of Saundersfoot and its picturesque harbour, you will feel the 'wow' factor as soon as you walk through the door and we are confident that once you have visited us once you will be back year after year!
This self-catering holiday cottage enters onto the ground floor and leads through to the four downstairs bedrooms.
Bedroom One with En-suite
Bedroom one benefits from king-size bed with chrome bedstead and an en-suite shower room.
Bedroom Two
Bedroom two also boasts a king-size bed, classic wooden bedroom furniture, with long windows looking out over the patio and garden.
Bedroom Three
Bedroom three has twin beds, white bedroom furniture and big windows looking out over the patio and garden.
Shower Room
There is a separate shower room on the ground floor to accommodate the guests in bedrooms two and three, comprising of a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
Bedroom Four with En-suite
Bedroom four provides a king-size bed and ensuite comprising of a bath with shower over, toilet and wash hand basin. French doors open out onto the large patio and garden offering views over the village and Pembrokeshire countryside.
Tv Room/Snug
The large hallway takes you on through to the cosy TV room with leather sofa seating which comfortably seats at least 4 people. French doors lead out to a separate, smaller enclosed terrace with outdoor seating - a real suntrap through the summer months.
Living Area
The spacious corridor leads through to the open plan kitchen/dining/living area from where guests can enjoy partial sea views and views across the village. The living area offers comfortable seating for up to 8 people with large flat -screen TV, Sky TV, log burner and bi-folding doors which open the whole room out onto the large patio terrace which also enjoys the coastal scenes - perfect for outdoor living during the summer months.
Kitchen/Diner
The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with everything you would expect to find in your self-catering cottage including microwave, dishwasher, large fridge, freezer, wine cooler, double electric oven and electric hob. The dining area offers seating for up to 10 people and there is also a convenient breakfast bar with seating for up to 6 people.
The ground floor further benefits from a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and there is also a cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin.
Main Bedroom & Bathroom
Stairs lead up to the second floor where you will find vaulted ceilings throughout. Double doors lead through to the main bedroom with super king size bed and a large separate dressing room. Next to this bedroom is the large bathroom with deep bath and surround, spacious shower unit, heated towel rail, double sink units and toilet.
Sky Room
On this floor double doors also open into the sky room - a peaceful area which boasts wonderful views over the village, the bay and Pembrokeshire coastline. Comfortable seating for up to 5 people provide a tranquil space to relax after a busy day exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.
Outside
The paved terrace off the living area has seating for up to 10 people with sun loungers, parasol and BBQ. The therapeutic hot tub is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views at any time of the day. Steps (and ramp) lead down to the large garden which provides plenty of room for larger families to enjoy the outside space.
The property is centrally heated throughout and also offers free WiFi, Sky TV and a gated driveway with parking for up to five cars. Bath and hand towels are provided - please provide your own towels for use with the hot tub.
A stay in The Hawthorns is a unique experience and one that can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
Please note that a returnable good housekeeping and damage deposit of £250.00 is required when booking (£500 for non-family bookings) i.e. hen parties, birthday parties etc).
Check in is from 4pm on arrival day.

Stunning House
To say this amazing place was a treat, is an understatement! We booked this stunning house with friends, for a birthday celebration and it definitely provided us with an exceptional weekend. Beautifully furnished, a wonderful kitchen with everything you might need and spacious bedrooms with really comfortable beds and cracking en-suites. Outside, we enjoyed the sun on the terrace overlooking Saundersfoot (yes, we actually got good weather!) and we made use of the hottub in the evenings - even got lucky with star-gazing on the clear nights! It's a short walk into town, the harbour and the beach but could be a challenge for some, walking back up the hill to the house. All in all, one of the best Airbnb properties we've had the pleasure to stay in.

Sensational property

Beautiful Property!
This house was amazing. Immaculate and beautifully decorated. We were on a girls birthday weekend away for my birthday. I broke my foot in 4 places 5 days before we were due to go. The house was perfect for wheelchair as most of bedrooms, bathrooms and living area are on ground floor. If I hadn't booked this property I would not have been able to go. Absolutely stunning, highly recommend

Excellent Location and Fantastic Accommodation
We know Saundersfoot and South Pembrokeshire very well so always had high expectations of the local area and amenities, but really good to see some money being ploughed into new shops and infrastructure in the village. The location of The Hawthorns, just off the hill, up from the village, was perfect for us and allowed us to walk to the beach with a trolly full of boards and balls, also a two-five minute walk into the centre of the village for any essentials. Possibly a bit of a challenge for any elderly holiday makers with hip or knee issues, but plenty of parking at the accommodation and in the village to allow the use of a car with ease. The bedrooms, bathrooms and reception rooms were all spacious and spotless and exactly fit for purpose, with an AMAZING penthouse suite. The garden was a perfect size and aspect for keeping an eye on the children and the hot-tub, with sea views over the village, was an added bonus! If we can find availability, we will definitely be making this an annual trip to The Hawthorns !!

Fabulous property and great location
My family and I stayed at this property last month for a few days before local lockdown restrictions were announced. The house itself is even more spacious than it seems in the photos and surpassed our expectations. The hot tub was an added bonus particularly with the views of Saundersfoot beach in the distance. The kitchen was stocked with key appliances and crockery, and the rest of the house was fully equipped to suit our needs - plenty of towels provided as well as a huge dining table for us to enjoy an evening meal. One thing to note is that robes are not provided for the hot tub, so don't forget to bring your own! The house is situated less than 5 minutes from Saundersfoot beach, local shops, pubs and restaurants. It's a steep climb back up to the property but easily managed. There is also plenty of space for vehicles to park on the drive if you prefer to get about that way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The communication with the property manager was great and they were on hand to help whenever I had to contact them. If we ever stay in Saundersfoot again, we will definitely be booking this property.
