Saundersfoot

Saundersfoot is a picturesque village with local shops/restaurants/cafes, active fishing harbour, gorgeous blue flag beaches, friendly community, and more! The village lies in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, not far from Tenby.

The village developed around the harbour, which was originally built 1829-1837 to export coal from local mines and those at Stepaside, the old tramway is still visible today and forms part of the coastal path connecting Saundersfoot to Coppet Hall and Coppet Hall to Wiseman’s Bridge.

The Old Coal Office houses a Welcome Centre featuring the history of local mining families and a sensory garden with a coal heritage.
