Puffin Cottage Holidays is delighted to present Windermere, between Tenby Harbour and Castle Beach boasting picturesque sea views from its sash windows and doorstep. In fact Windermere to Castle Beach is just 50 yards away and less than a one minute walk! After a lovely day on the beach, grab some tasty refreshments from the Dennis café and slowly amble up the slip way to your lovely seaside abode!

Venture out to Tenby harbour where the wooden excursion huts are gathered at the entrance where you can book a trip to Caldey Island , go sea-life spotting or try your luck at fishing. Take a peek at the quaint stone fisherman’s chapel which sits on the harbour front and stroll the path around Castle Hill to see the Lifeboat station and the castle ruins. Be sure to dip your toes in the sea at Castle Beach and if the tide allows, climb the rocky steps up to St Catherine's Island for its history and unique view of Tenby. Centrally located near shops, bakeries and local cuisine, you could not pick a better spot to enjoy the town!
If you can spare some time away from Tenby, there are many attractions and beaches to enjoy!
Windermere highlights its charming Georgian characteristics with pops of colour and contemporary decor. Split over four levels, the house has a wonderful flow with plenty of nooks to relax and take in the sea views.
Enter the house through the front door, ground level, into the open plan kitchen, living dining area.
Kitchen
The kitchen is a modern design with a fabulous blue electric Aga. Equipped with dishwasher, washer dryer and fridge freezer. The open plan design allows you to socialise and connect with family and friends whilst preparing meals. The kitchen also features a large island/breakfast bar, seating and integrated induction hob.
Dining/Living area
A relaxed space with comfortable soft furnishings, wall mounted TV, dining table and seating for 8 people.
Boot room
Leading on from the kitchen is a boot room and sink and plenty of space for body boards, shoes, buckets and spades. The back door from this room provides access to the outside patio area and seating.
Downstairs
A door from the kitchen leads downstairs to a snug area with comfortable seating and Smart TV.

Bedroom 4
The first floor bedroom has a double Bed, chest of drawers, clothes rail and access to en-suite which comprises a shower cubicle with rainfall shower, washbasin and mirror.

On the landing is a further large built in cupboard with hanging space and shelves.
Additional Information
Please note: That stag and hen parties are strictly not permitted at this property. Mixed group and same sex group bookings may be considered by prior application only and are subject to owner's approval and checks.
There is a parking permit for the multi storey car park which is a five minute walk from Windermere (and outside of the summer vehicular restriction zone). Further parking is available at the Five Arches pay and display car park, just a five minute walk away from the property.
Two small or one medium sized well-behaved dogs welcome - please note dogs are permitted downstairs only. If your bringing your furry friends, why not take a look at our dog friendly beaches guide.
Please note the property is located in Tenby town centre and there are vehicular restrictions through some of the peak summer weeks between July and September.
A refundable damage and good-housekeeping deposit of £100 is required when staying at this property.
No hen or stag parties.
Check in is from 4pm on day of arrival.

Lovely House
Lovely house in a fabulous location. The house is so close to the beach, shops and everything in Tenby - so lovely for the kids to be literally across the road from the beach. The house is very well set up with everything you need - good kitchen, well equipped with a big ‘fridge and plenty of pans. Very useful space on the ground floor for boots/beach equipment etc and modern bathrooms. There were 6 adults and 2 kids and it never felt crowded - really great place to stay - thanks so much.
Fabulous House
Windermere House is a fabulous house with plenty of room for the whole family with some great views from the lounge and being so close to the beach and town was a great bonus we can’t wait to return. Great Company and Great Customer Service 5*
Perfect Location
Absolutely loved this house. It was warm, the beds were so comfy, the views amazing and the perfect location. Lovely evenings spent in the kitchen, cooking and having fun with the music on. Really appreciated the buckets and spades as it meant we could go straight onto the beach with the kids whom were eager to explore. Thank you for the lovely bottle of wine and the chocolates. It got our holiday off to the perfect start.
Would definitely stay again
We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday with family, grandchildren and dogs. The property was clean, modern, warm and very central to all amenities. We were walking distance to the beach which the children and dogs loved. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, thank you 🥰. The property was very well equipped, we didn’t need for anything. The views of the sea and beach from lounge and bedroom were a bonus. We would definitely stay again. 5 year old granddaughter said we should come every year for my birthday 💕. Thank you x

Loved the house and location
We stay in Tenby every year but stayed a little later than usual this year to cover Ironman at the same time. My husband was in the Ironman event and the accommodation was perfect for him, he was able to rest and be away from the party vibe of the main square but also be close enough to everything he wanted. We stayed with three generations of our family, all of which loved the house and location and talked about the view constantly. We had a lovely communal space but also used the Den for the children so they could have their own space and the second sitting room was handy for my partner to set up for his Ironman event and have space when he needed it. We were super happy with our stay and it was fabulous to be on the run course and watching my partner run passed the front door on his first lap (all laps passed by but we moved to the finish after his first). Thanks for our stay.

Stayed at Windermere in Tenby for a Triathlon event. Beautiful property with fantastic views in a really central location. Property was spotlessly clean with all the home comforts we needed. Really well thought out kitchen, with all utensils. Very easy to book with Puffin, straightforward, prompt communication. No issues whatsoever. Will be sure to use again.

We loved our stay at Vicki's place. The grandchildren made great use of their secret "cinema" room in the basement, where grown-ups had to pay to get in, and we loved being able to walk everywhere, with the beach literally on the doorstep. The furnishings and views were great and contributed to the wonderful time we had.
Amazing
Windermere was amazing, the property was spectacular and had everything you could need. Location was perfect, walkable to everything in Tenby, lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby. Check in was easy and Vicki was great at communicating from the minute we booked. Would definitely recommend as the place to stay for a great holiday in Tenby, we will be back again.
Really nice place
It’s a really nice place-near the beach and sea. There are many nice restaurants about five minutes’ walk and shops. The house is really nice for travelling-comfortable bed and large dining areas. We all have a great time there. The host is also very friendly and replies very fast.
