Puffin Cottage Holidays is pleased to present The Cottage at Wisemans Bridge — a blissful, rustic, beachfront retreat where sea views, serenity and simple coastal living come together beautifully.

If waking to uninterrupted sea vistas from every room, watching the sky glow with Pembrokeshire sunsets, listening to waves roll in as you relax in your own secluded garden, and wandering down a private path straight onto the beach sounds like your idea of a perfect escape… you’ve just found it.

Nestled right on the shoreline in the peaceful hamlet of Wisemans Bridge, this charming cottage sits on the edge of Saundersfoot, offering a rare blend of tranquillity and convenience. The world-famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path is quite literally on your doorstep, inviting you to enjoy a leisurely 10–15-minute wander into Saundersfoot — across the sand at low tide, or along the scenic clifftop path when the tide is in.

Whether you’re here for slow, peaceful mornings, barefoot beach walks, or evenings spent soaking up the glow of the sea, The Cottage at Wisemans Bridge offers a truly special place to experience coastal life at its most effortless and restorative.

The Cottage opens into a small porch with a further door opening into the main house leading to all rooms on the lower level and stairs to the floor above.

Sitting Room

The beamed sitting room provides comfortable sofa seating for up to 6 people, and the cosy log burner, set into a stone fireplace, makes The Cottage a cosy holiday home, even during the slightly colder months. The lounge faces out towards the sea front and large windows capture the spectacular coastal views over the bay towards Amroth , Pendine and The Gower Peninsular. The lounge also benefits from TV with FreeView.

Kitchen/Dining Area

The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with electric 4-ring hob and cooker, fridge with large freezer compartment, washing machine and dishwasher. In the centre of the kitchen a beautiful Welsh dresser adds to the unique character of The Cottage. The large dining area affords comfortable seating for up to 6 people. Large sea facing windows, again capture the magnificent coastal views over the bay towards Monkstone Point. Step through this room and into your own private outdoor haven, with sea salt in the air.

Cloakroom

On the ground floor there is also a small cloak room with toilet and wash hand basin.

Upstairs

A book-lined hallway houses some of your favourite books, and a window seat to relax and enjoy the adventures within.

Bedroom 1 and Ensuite

Cosy double bed and TV with an ensuite featuring a large corner shower, toilet and washbasin. A large sea facing balcony leads off the main bedroom with garden furniture for two people - the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco breakfast, or a glass of wine as the evening winds down.

Bedroom 2

Bunk beds (suitable for children only).

Upstairs

Twin beds, TV and washbasin. A cosy window seat allows you to catch the sea’s everchanging moods.

Family Bathroom

The upstairs family bathroom comprises toilet, washbasin and bath with shower over.

Outside Area

Outside the beautiful garden is a real feature of this cottage - the front garden area faces out towards the sea and enjoys the same amazing views as the rest of the house. To the side of the house there is a path that leads through into a more secluded and peaceful 'secret garden' which provides a serene setting to relax or enjoy a book. Private steps lead down to the beach (these steps are uneven and should be used with caution).

Additional Information

Outside the cottage there is parking for two cars. There are more parking bays just a two-minute walk from The Cottage.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the property.

One well-behaved dog welcome. If you're bringing your furry friends, why not take a look at our dog friendly beaches guide. - Although the garden is fully enclosed, an adventurous dog may be able to make way through the hedges.

Please note that there is a small but steep hill to access The Cottage and the property is therefore not suitable for anyone with limited mobility or wheelchair users.

We've been coming to Wiseman's Bridge for more years than I can remember! Our annual stay at The Cottage is enthusiastically looked forward to as we so enjoy it. We love the accommodation as it is so warm and welcoming, and so conveniently placed for all manner of sightseeing and walks. The garden is a delight and the views from it are unbeatable. The Cottage is well-equipped and so comfortable - a really friendly home from home!!

Cosy Cottage

We spent one week at Wiseman's Bridge Cottage. The weather was changeable, but the cozy cottage also made us spend stormy days pleasantly. The direct access to the beach was great, the cozy little garden had a fantastic view, was sheltered from the wind and must be even more beautiful in summer. My favourite place in the house was the windowsill in the living room with a burning fireplace and amazing views. We will be back!
