Nestled amongst enchanting ancient woodland, The Bluebell enjoys a wonderfully tranquil setting, with remnants of the original manor still hidden amongst the trees. A network of picturesque woodland paths leads from the lodge, making it easy to explore the surrounding countryside on foot. For a day by the sea, the golden sands of Tenby’s South Beach are just a 15–20-minute walk away.
The charming village of Penally is close by, with a cosy traditional pub and the highly regarded Y Rhosyn restaurant at Penally Abbey, offering plenty of tempting options for eating and drinking.
Just two miles away, Tenby is home to award-winning beaches, colourful harbour views and a wonderful selection of independent shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. The Bluebell is also ideally positioned for discovering some of Pembrokeshire’s most popular family attractions.
The Bluebell
Accessed through a gated wrap-around veranda, The Bluebell immediately feels like a peaceful retreat. The spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area provides a welcoming hub for meals and relaxed time together, while two ground-floor bedrooms and a family bathroom make this level practical for families and friends.
Upstairs, the beautifully positioned lounge provides a cosy space to unwind, with glass doors opening onto a furnished balcony overlooking the surrounding woodland and golf course. The elegant master bedroom is also located upstairs and benefits from its own private ensuite.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay, including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave. There is dining seating for up to six guests.
Doors open directly onto the furnished decked veranda, where you can enjoy the peaceful woodland surroundings. And for the ultimate way to relax, step into the bubbling sunken hot tub and unwind beneath the trees.

The Bluebell benefits from a gated wrap-around deck with a bubbling sunken hot tub and furnished veranda, providing a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Private parking is available for two cars.
Additional Information
Up to two small dogs, or one medium-sized dog, are welcome at The Bluebell. There is a charge of £25 per dog. If you're bringing your four-legged friend, why not explore our dog-friendly beaches guide for inspiration? Please note that the veranda is gated but is not fully enclosed.
A refundable damage and good-housekeeping deposit of £150 is required.
Check-in is from 4pm on the day of arrival.

Wonderful Week
We had a wonderful week at Bluebell lodge. Ideal location for exploring lots of gorgeous beaches and we had perfect weather all week. The lodge was ideal, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable. The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of the day. We enjoyed stargazing from the balcony with incredible dark skies and an amazing meteor shower during our stay!
Very homely
The lodge was lovely we had everything we needed and the hot tub was an extra treat. Although it’s a holiday rental it felt very homely, the books are something we enjoyed. We had a wonderful stay at Bluebell and have stayed on this site previously at another lodge. We highly recommend Puffin Cottage Holidays they are very good value for money and easy to deal with.
Highly recommend this lodge
We stayed at this beautiful lodge in Wales over Christmas and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the setting felt peaceful and magical, surrounded by stunning countryside. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean, cosy and very well equipped. We cooked Christmas dinner comfortably in the kitchen, which had everything we needed, and enjoyed quiet evenings playing games. The location was perfect – secluded enough to truly switch off, yet close enough to explore local villages and scenic walks. The hosts were friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with, making the whole experience stress-free. Spending Christmas here felt truly special, and we left feeling relaxed, refreshed and full of lovely memories. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this lodge for a cosy break.

Lovely setting
Great accomodation in the lovely setting. Wonderful beaches in the area. Hot tub was a bonus, very relaxing. Bluebell is lovely, nicely furnished, love the balconies. Had everything we needed.

We come with family, amazing, peaceful place, everything perfect, special upstairs, so beautiful view. We definitely back again. Thank you so much.
Perfect holiday home
We have just returned from a fabulous weeks holiday staying in The Bluebell Tenby. The house is in a private wooded area within Trefloyne golf course. We were a party of six with mixed generations from 23 to 82 and the house accommodated us beautifully. The house is on two floors with living areas on both so there is plenty of space to find a quiet corner. The large master bedroom is on the top floor and has an en suite. The other two bedrooms are on the ground floor and each has two single beds with a shared bathroom which has a shower and bath. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed and beautifully furnished with cosy cushions and rugs. It’s a real home from home. The house is very light and airy with lovely views, we really enjoyed having coffee sitting out on the balconies in the morning and a few glasses of wine watching the sun go down in the evening. The golf club house is a few minutes walk away, we had dinner there twice and both times really enjoyed the food and ambience, it has a very relaxed atmosphere and the couple who manage it are really friendly. We enjoyed walking to South beach and Tenby from the house, which takes around 25 minutes along a foot path with stunning views down to the sea. It really was a perfect retreat and we will definitely be back soon.
Comfy beds, peaceful area, would recommend!
We loved staying here, it looks exactly like the listing. The beds were really comfy, the WiFi worked well, the kitchen had everything we needed. The area was so peaceful, and the hot tub was the best bit. We would definitely recommend staying here!
