Puffin Cottage Holidays is delighted to present Schooner House. Poised on the brow of the hill into Saundersfoot , boasting breathtaking views across Saundersfoot beach and its working harbour. Schooner house, the largest of the holiday lets in the Admirals Mews development is distinctive with its inverted layout, the main bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground level, elevating the living areas and kitchen to the first floor, thus meaning the spectacular views can be enjoyed throughout the day by everyone!
Schooner House is also a family friendly property equipped with highchair, travel cot and a retractable stair gate.
Saundersfoot is a small village with a lot to offer, from restaurants to cafes, local trades, water sports, beaches and walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path . There is plenty to see and do on your doorstep or you could venture into the nearby seaside town of Tenby , its fascinating history goes back as far as the iron age. Narberth , an old market town filled with unique shops, arts and culture is a twenty-minute drive away. Saundersfoot is a central location to visit the vast array of attractions and beaches that Pembrokeshire has to offer.
Enter the property into the hallway with doors to two bedrooms and the main bathroom on the left and the stairs on the right, leading to the living areas and third bedroom. Thoughtfully and brightly decorated, creating a seamless connection to the seascape outside.
Bedroom 1
Twin zip and link beds (with prior arrangement the beds can be attached together to form a super king). Fitted with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and mirror. This bedroom has sea views.
Bedroom 2
The master bedroom with a super king bed, large double wardrobe, full length mirror, a dressing table, bedside tables, and a spacious ensuite comprising a bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin.
Bathroom
The main bathroom has a separate shower cubicle, a bath, towel rail, toilet and wash basin.
There is plenty of space downstairs to store coats, shoes, pushchairs or beach equipment.
Upstairs leads to the main living areas and at the top of the stairs is the third bedroom.
Bedroom 3
Bunk beds with a built-in wardrobe and a velux window.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you may need for a self-catering holiday, including appliances such as dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer dryer.
Dining/Living area
The open plan dining/ living area is a bright and spacious room with its vaulted ceiling and the natural light spilling in through the balcony doors and windows. A dining table and seating for six is conveniently situated near the kitchen. Three comfortable sofas are arranged around the captivating sea views. A large flat screen smart TV with a large choice of apps, basic Sky package, Freeview, DVD player and Chromecast has been provided for your use.
Outside
Outside on the balcony, there is a furnished table, chairs and a parasol. The balcony resembles the bow of a boat, with the views, sea air and sounds of the waves, you may feel as though you are drifting out over to the Gower peninsula. A wonderful area to eat and drink, relax and enjoy!

Please note: That stag and hen parties are strictly not permitted at this property. Mixed group and same sex group bookings may be considered by prior application only and are subject to owner's approval and checks.
The property is centrally heated throughout and has WiFi.
There is one parking space allocated for this property and a complimentary parking pass for one car during peak season at the Regency Car Park.

A refundable damage and good housekeeping deposit of £150 is required when renting this property.

Wow! What an amazing House!!!
The website was easy to navigate and the photo of Schooner House advertised were very true to life. Great communication and easy to deal with. Very friendly. Will definitely book through them again.
Wow! What an AMAZING house. It was everything and more than expected. It was like being home from home. The views were spectacular and the sound of the sea was very therapeutic. Walks along the beach were very energizing. As a family we were completely relaxed and enjoyed the vibe the village gave. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

The view is just STUNNING
First things first, a wonderful location, you can walk right into town in a couple of minutes. The view is just STUNNING.
The property was well described - well equipped and perfect for a week's stay. The cot was a bonus for us. The floors and stairs are creaky which caused a slight issue with noise when I was putting our little boy to bed, but wasn't too much of a problem.
We would definitely stay again.
Amazing Time
To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement. The whole family, toddler, dog and grandparents, all had an amazing time in this gem of of a stay with non stop views of the glorious sea and beach and able to to walk to everything in minutes. We fell in love with Saundersfoot a few years ago and this has been our favourite place to stay. Thanks for sharing this wonderful place in an amazing village.
One of the best properties we have used.
We have been staying in Saundersfoot for over 40 years and this was one of the best homes we have used. Its the first time we have used yourselves to book and your service was also much better than any others. Lots of clear communication and instructions and a courtesy call the day before which we have never had! Felt valued and will definitely use you again We have been staying in Saundersfoot for over 40 years and this is one of the best properties we have used. Very large space, lovely furniture, comfy beds, parking, spotlessly clean and what a view! The owners have put a lot of thought in and it doesn't feel like just a holiday home. They have provided enough seating for everyone and little things like enough glasses and cutlery so you don't have to keep washing up! Lovely big towels as well. I have nothing bad to say and would love to stay again. I would maybe warn some people its a quite short steep hill back up, we know the village so were aware when we booked.

Wow, what a view. The balcony has spectacular views across the bay and beyond. Inside there is plenty of room for the 5 of us, and is comfortable throughout. We loved the quirky 'upside down' house, making those views from upstairs even more incredible. Thank you, can't wait to return.

Fantastic place to stay
Schooner House is a fantastic place to stay, set in a wonderful location with panoramic views from the living room. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. This was our third walking holiday on the Pembrokeshire coast, and it's easily the best place we've stayed. We’ve already booked another stay at Schooner House for next year—highly recommended!

Absolute Gem
FABULOUS SCHOONER HOUSE. LOVED OUR TWO NIGHTS HERE. BREATHTAKING VIEWS ACROSS THE BAY. VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. SO CLOSE TO SHOPS AND PUBS WITH LOVELY CHOICE OF FOOD. THE HOUSE HAS A LOVELY LAYOUT REALLY COMFORTABLE AND HAS EVERYTHING YOU REQUIRE FOR A PERFECT HOLIDAY. REALLY DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE.
Views are incredible and the location is a dream
The views are incredible and the location is a dream, parking was easy and I couldn't have asked for much more having recently visited. I really enjoyed walking on the beach, I thought I saw a seal but unfortunately it was just a black dog that seemed to love swimming.
Fantastic Stay!
We had another fantastic stay at Schooner House. This our third stay here in this particular house and it keeps getting better and better. The house was warm and welcoming on arrival and spotlessly clean. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. The house was well stocked with condiments and cleaning products which was also very appreciated. We had an amazing New Years Eve watching the fireworks display from the balcony and then took part in the New Years Day Swim on the beach. Fantastic! Would highly recommend The Boathouse down the road, excellent food and service. Thank you Carol and Bob, we'll definitely be back!
